Then there is the design of the Thesis theme itself. The beauty of it is that all the changes that you will need to make are in two files, one for CSS and another for PHP functions.
This means that you can easily adapt the design of your blog to meet your particular needs without having to pay someone or wait for them to make small changes to an existing design.
One of the Thesis gurus, Rick Beckman, has created a plugin called OpenHook which makes it even easier to make design changes, since one of the bigger challenges is knowing where to put the code.
The plugin gives you a textbox to plug the code into.
